Remote Learning Day Scheduled Friday, April 17, 2026

All assignments will be asynchronous (without the need for real-time interaction with the instructor or other students) because some students may not have internet access. However, students can complete tasks related to the current curriculum. It does not need to be a separate assignment

• Thursday, April 16, 2026: On or before this date - Assignments distributed to students
  • Instructors will inform students on or before Thursday, April 16, 2026, of the required assignment(s) students must complete during this Remote Learning Day.
• Friday, October 17, 2025: Remote Learning Day
  • Miami Valley Career Technology Center will be utilizing a Remote Learning Day. Students will not be in attendance at school.
• Wednesday, April 22, 2026: Student Assignments Due
  • There will be an assignment for each class in which the student is enrolled.
  • NOTE - Any student who does not turn in the assignment by the designated date will be marked with a period attendance absence for that class within ProgressBook GradeBook.
  • Seniors participating in pre-apprenticeship or advanced placement will not complete assignments for their career-technical labs; however, they must complete assignments for their academic and elective classes.
  • Students who do not submit assignments by the established date may receive an incomplete or a zero for the grade. Failure to complete and submit assignments by Wednesday, April 22, 2026, before 2:30 p.m. will also generate an unexcused absence for the student.
• Students will be allowed to work on assignments at school between April 20 and 22. The school provides computers and internet access to every student while on campus. Students can access the MVCTC internet to complete assignments before, during, or after the regularly scheduled school day. Therefore, regardless of internet connectivity at the student’s home, all students complete assignments by the due date.
