MVCTC Celebrates January Students of the Month

Miami Valley Career Technology Center is proud to recognize its January 2026 Students of the Month, honoring outstanding students across career programs, satellite programs, and academics. These students were selected for their leadership, work ethic, academic achievement, and positive impact on their classrooms and peers.

In Electives, Business, Information Technology, and Agriculture, seniors Nacole Lester and Connor DeMange of the Media & Video Production program were recognized for reviving BPA News for the first time since 2020. Instructor Pat Carlisle praised the duo for dramatically increasing production output and showing relentless dedication to their work.

In Health and Consumer Sciences, Kayla Swartz, a junior in Career Compass, stood out for her leadership, initiative, and positive attitude, while Tagen Jackson, a junior in Pre-Nursing, was recognized for her exceptional ability to lead and teach others, even beyond current coursework.

In Trade & Industry and Graphic Arts, Emma Harris, a junior in Robotics and Automation, was honored for her leadership within SkillsUSA and for advancing her team’s combat robotics project. Teron-Malie Daley, a senior in Firefighter EMS, earned recognition for her perfect academic and lab performance, leadership in class, and selection as a fire department intern while balancing outside employment.

Satellite program honorees included Ella Eshleman, recognized for her dedication and enthusiasm in preparing for the BPA Entrepreneurship competition, and Teighlor Danes, a Semester 1 early graduate and top credit earner in the CCL program, noted for her strong work ethic and professionalism.

In Academics, Kierstin Drew and Miley Hamilton were celebrated for their academic consistency, perseverance, and kindness, setting strong examples for their peers.

MVCTC congratulates all January Students of the Month and thanks the instructors who continue to highlight student excellence across the district.
