MVCTC BPA Students Excel at Regional Competition, Advance to State

Students from the Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) earned top honors at the Business Professionals of America (BPA) Regional Competition, securing numerous first-, second-, and third-place finishes and advancing to the BPA State Competition on February 23–24 in Columbus, Ohio.

The Regional BPA Awards were held at Wayne High School and were organized thanks in large part to the leadership and coordination of MVCTC instructors Amy Sugden and Mandy Watts. Their efforts helped ensure a successful event that showcased student skills across business, technology, healthcare, media, and legal fields.

MVCTC students competed in a wide range of events aligned with their career pathways, including business administration, finance, information technology, healthcare administration, media production, cybersecurity, programming, and marketing. Their success reflects both their dedication and the strength of MVCTC’s career-technical education programs.
