MVCTC Announces November Students of the Month

Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) is proud to recognize the outstanding achievements and leadership of its November Students of the Month. These students represent programs across the district and have demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and dedication to their career pathways.

Electives, Business, Information Technology, and Agriculture

Liam Fasick (Vandalia-Butler) and Sincere Graham (Preble-Shawnee)
Liam and Sincere stepped forward as leaders by volunteering to be the first students of the year to host the Morning Announcements. They even pushed the due date up by a week, resulting in the earliest announcement production in Instructor Pat Carlisle’s 17 years overseeing the program. Their collaboration and teamwork set a strong example for their peers.

Health and Consumer Sciences

Kaitlyn Barga (Ansonia), Dental Assisting
Instructor Abbie Hartman describes Kaitlyn as an exceptional student who arrives each day ready to learn and consistently exceeds expectations. Her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to go above and beyond make her a role model in the program.

Francis “Franny” Bates (Preble-Shawnee), Early Childhood Education
Instructor Alicia Newman shares that Franny is a respectful, thoughtful student who actively participates in class, supports her peers, and demonstrates impressive teaching skills in the preschool lab. Her creative, intentional lesson planning shows her readiness for the field.

Trade & Industry and Graphic Arts

Kevin Kelly (Huber Heights), Pre-Engineering
Kevin has shown remarkable innovation and problem-solving skills, particularly through a recent Marble Maze project he co-designed using AutoCAD and laser technology. While the assignment required only two maze levels, Kevin’s team engineered an entire maze cube, demonstrating advanced design thinking and initiative.

Madelaine Barron-Booker (Northmont), Criminal Justice
Madelaine volunteered ten hours of her personal time at the Brookville Ghostly Nite event on October 18. She received praise from community members and the Brookville Police Chief for her professionalism and service. Her strong representation of MVCTC reflects her dedication and character.

Academics

Julianna Doliboa (Preble-Shawnee), Pre-Nursing
Science teacher Jessica Knisley highlights Julianna’s strong work ethic, focus, and academic success. Julianna earned her STNA certification as a junior and is currently participating in observation experiences with Premier Health. Her enthusiasm and commitment to a nursing career are evident, and she plans to continue her education in Sinclair’s nursing program.

Emma Eads (Vandalia-Butler), Early Childhood Education
English teacher Candace Hundley notes Emma’s outstanding academic performance and growth mindset. Emma consistently revises and improves her work, demonstrates initiative, and maintains strong effort even through challenging assignments.

MVCTC Satellite Programs

Alexia Mougey (Huber Heights, MVCTC Welding)
Instructor Mrs. Rose recognizes Alexia for her daily dedication, positive attitude, and commitment to mastering her trade. Alexia strengthens her skills through extra practice and study outside of class, making her a standout role model in the welding pathway.

Christopher Zasvacky (Huber Heights, MVCTC Welding)
Chris arrives every day prepared and puts forth maximum effort in all tasks. His strong work ethic, reliability, and positive mindset contribute to a productive classroom environment and make him highly deserving of this recognition.
