Recent graduates of Miami Valley Career Technology Center's Natural Resource Management program demonstrated their knowledge of environmental science and natural resource conservation by earning Third Place at the 2026 Ohio Envirothon State Competition.

A group of Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) FFA members recently traded the classroom for the great outdoors as they attended the 2026 Ohio FFA Camp at Camp Muskingum.
This year's camp theme, "Outwit, Outplay, Outlast," challenged students to build leadership skills, strengthen teamwork, and develop lasting friendships while participating in a variety of outdoor educational and recreational activities. Students spent the week immersed in experiences designed to help them grow as leaders while gaining a deeper appreciation for Ohio's natural resources and agricultural heritage

Miami Valley Career Technology Center students recently represented both Ohio FCCLA and MVCTC at the 2026 FCCLA National Leadership Conference held July 5-10 in Washington, D.C.
Competing against the nation's best Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) members, three MVCTC students earned national recognition in STAR (Students Taking Action with Recognition) Events after qualifying through state competition.

Sixteen Miami Valley Career Technology Center students represented Ohio and MVCTC at the HOSA International Leadership Conference in Indianapolis, joining thousands of future healthcare professionals from across the United States, U.S. territories, and several countries around the world.
Qualifying for the international conference is a significant accomplishment. Each MVCTC student earned their place by finishing among the top three competitors in Ohio during the HOSA State Leadership Conference.
