Aviation Maintenance Technician

The Aviation Maintenance Technician program at MVCTC prepares students to service, repair, and overhaul aircraft, parts, and engines to ensure safe, reliable performance in the aviation industry. Students will benefit from a unique partnership with Delta Airlines, gaining access to Delta equipment for hands-on instruction and opening doors to numerous career opportunities in the global aviation industry. The program also partners with PSA Airlines, providing additional exposure to real-world aviation maintenance practices. Students can earn certifications such as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe Mechanic and Power Plant Mechanic certifications. College credit opportunities are available through Eastern New Mexico University and Sinclair College, helping students further their education and in some cases earn their associate's degree and high school diploma at the same time.
