Auto Technology

The Auto Technology program at MVCTC equips students with the skills needed to perform essential automotive services such as brake repair, engine service, machining, wheel mounting and balancing, and wheel alignments. Students will work with computerized diagnostic equipment and gain hands-on experience working on customers' cars. The program prepares students for certification exams, including those from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in areas like Suspension & Steering, Engine Repair, Brakes, Electrical/Electronic Systems, and Engine Performance. With work-based learning opportunities, advanced placement, and college credit through Sinclair College and partnerships with the University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH) and Universal Technical Institute, students are well-prepared for careers in the automotive service industry.

Program Highlights
