Early Childhood Education

The Early Childhood Education program at MVCTC offers students valuable hands-on experience through the operation of the MVCTC Preschool for children ages three to five. Students will apply academic concepts of child development and developmentally appropriate practices while working directly with young children, creating engaging learning activities and employing child guidance techniques. This program provides work-based learning opportunities, including advanced placement or internships, allowing students to play a positive role in a child’s learning process. Students will also have the opportunity to earn the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential upon meeting the required standards.
