Our program offers Work-Based Learning opportunities, including Advanced Placement and Internships, and the chance to earn valuable certifications like the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology License. With college credit opportunities through Sinclair College and industry credentials in hand, you’ll be ready to launch your career as a licensed cosmetologist or pursue further education. Program Highlights

  • Hands-On Salon Experience – Gain practical experience operating the MVCTC full-service salon, where you’ll perform services such as facials, manicures, pedicures, haircuts, color treatments, and lash extensions on real clients.

  • Comprehensive Cosmetology Skills – Learn essential skills in hair cutting, styling, and color, along with business operations, communication, and salon management, preparing you for a successful career in the beauty industry.

  • Advanced Learning & Certifications – Participate in work-based learning opportunities such as advanced placement or internships, and gain knowledge in microbiology, infection control, hand and foot treatments, and essential business skills.
