Health Occupations

Prepare for a rewarding career in healthcare with MVCTC’s Health Occupations program, where you’ll develop the skills needed to obtain your State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification in your junior year. Gain hands-on experience working with EKG equipment and earn certification as an EKG Technician. Participate in clinical visits to area nursing homes and job shadow at local hospitals to get a firsthand look at patient care in a variety of healthcare settings. With certifications like STNA, National Healthcare Association Certified Patient Care Technician (PCT), and CPR First Aid, along with college credit opportunities through Hocking College and Sinclair College, this program prepares you for a successful healthcare career.
