Business Ownership
Business is everywhere—become a part of it with MVCTC’s Business Ownership program! Gain a strong foundation in general business and entrepreneurship while managing MVCTC’s school-wide merchandise sales, developing a business plan, and learning QuickBooks. Build leadership and presentation skills by competing in BPA contests, with students regularly advancing to state and national levels. Earn industry-recognized certifications such as Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access to stand out in the business world. With work-based learning, internships, and college credit opportunities at Edison State Community College, Hocking College, and Sinclair College, this program prepares you for success in business management, marketing, or starting your own company.
