Heavy Equipment Operator

Take the driver’s seat in your future with MVCTC’s Heavy Equipment Operator program, where you’ll learn to operate powerful construction machinery like bulldozers, skid loaders, backhoes, and excavators. Train in the outdoor land lab and gain real-world experience on client projects, preparing for careers in construction and excavation. Earn industry-recognized certifications, including NCCER Core, Level One, and Level Two Heavy Equipment, OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety, and the Ohio State Apprenticeship Council Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate. With work-based learning, pre-apprenticeship opportunities, and college credit connections through Sinclair College, this program equips you with the skills and certifications needed for a high-demand career in heavy equipment operation.
