Veterinary Science
Prepare for a future in animal healthcare with MVCTC’s Veterinary Science program, where you’ll gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting under the guidance of two instructors, including a practicing Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. In this high-level, science-based classroom, you'll conduct dissection labs and gain expertise in Anatomy & Physiology, Hematology, Parasitology, and Urinalysis through interactive practicums. Expand your skills with educational trips to equine facilities and actively participate in FFA State-Level Career Development Events. Earn the Level 1 Wildlife Rehabilitation Certification through Brukner Nature Center. With college credit connections at Edison State Community College and Sinclair College, this program sets you on the path to a career in veterinary medicine, animal care, or biological sciences.

Comprehensive Hands-On Training – Work in a clinical setting under the guidance of two instructors, including a practicing Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Registered Veterinary Technician, gaining practical experience in veterinary care and animal science.

In-Depth Animal Care Curriculum – Study a wide range of subjects, including companion animal selection, nutrition, and management, equine care, animal anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, and principles of disease and surgery, preparing for careers in veterinary science and animal health.
