Spark your future with MVCTC’s Welding program, where you’ll master the skills to cut, join, and fabricate metal using industry-standard welding techniques. Over two years, you’ll train in MIG, TIG, stick welding, and plasma cutting while preparing for high-demand careers. Earn industry-recognized certifications such as the American Welding Society (AWS) Certification and gain college credits through Sinclair College, giving you a strong foundation for a career in welding or advanced manufacturing.

Program Highlights

  • Comprehensive Hands-On Training – Develop skills in shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding, flux core arc welding, and gas tungsten arc welding while working on real shop projects.

  • Master Industry Standards & Techniques – Learn welding vocabulary, industry standards, blueprint reading, sheet metal layout, fabrication principles, and essential shop and welding safety practices.

  • Gain Real-World Experience & Certifications – Participate in job shadowing, internships, and paid employment while earning industry-recognized credentials through the American Welding Society and competing in SkillsUSA events.
