Career Exploration

MVCTC offers a variety of Career Awareness & Exploration opportunities designed to inspire and inform students about potential career paths from an early age. These engaging activities and events provide hands-on experiences, industry insights, and direct interaction with current MVCTC students to help grades K-10 explore their interests and future career possibilities. Opportunities include:

  • Touch-a-Truck for K-8 students, where they can examine vehicles and equipment used in various trades
  • MVCTC Student Panel (Q&A) for grades 4-7, where current students share their experiences
  • Career Day/Fair Support is available for students K-12, allowing them to interact with our current students
  • Summer camps like STEM Camp (grades 6-8), Robotics Camp (grades 8-10), and Career Camp (grades 8-10) offer immersive learning experiences.
  • High school students can participate in 8th Grade Tours, Individual Campus Tours (grades 8-10), Partner School Visits (grade 10), and Sophomore Career Days (grade 10) to explore MVCTC’s programs firsthand.

These experiences provide valuable insight into career-technical education and help students make informed decisions about their futures!
